Hashtag-sitting on the outside seat while people stand nearby, Hashtag-nitwit
Dare say it then
You have no… idea… I was shaking my invisible fist at a guy this morning whose bag was too important to sit in his lap or on the floor while people stood.
I wish I could be that brazen!
You can do it, but just do it in nice way, without being an asshole.
I think of the same thing sometimes when i am sitting next to someone at the bar. Then I think, he may be having a bad day and I don’t want a beer smashed over my head… have another beer. Nice blog, look forward to more creative drawings.
LOL I’m a church pastor… if you could see the cartoon bubbles of my thoughts some days…
If this was Facebook I’d “like” this comment 🙂
exactly! I confessed something with church friends the other day and was surprised that they didn’t already know that about me. I forgot they don’t know me as well as Jesus does.
You’re hilarious 🙂
I see that all the time and I just don’t understand some people. Crazy!
But some of us just need the extra breeze provided by the outside seat after chasing the bus three blocks like a crazy lady…..! (Eek)
Try dealing with people who take public transportation after having to much to drink. Believe me when I wish I would have said something when they get a little nasty.
This is the first time I visit your blog! Thanks for following me 😉 I’m glad you did! I like
On today’s comic, I like No Ulterior Motive’s point of view.
Kindness can be an effective measure against this situations.
Just stopping by to thank you for visiting and following Cry and Howl! You have the coolest blog!
LOL … I think we are a few years away from just politely telling each other to fuck off. 🙂
lol… I never think this kind of down to earth drawing comic can bring smile, it did! Like it! Will see U more then, thank’s for visiting mine, greetings from newbie on the block! 🙂
I think my answer would be “That seat behind you is empty. Feel free to park your asshole on it.” 🙂
Seriously, it’s an act of self-defense. I am bus-cursed. If I sit inside, it’s a like a free pass for That Guy (methed out of his mind, filthy, smells like he rolled in a freshly-fertilized field, then died) to come sit next to me. How is it they always think that’s the combination guaranteed to make you fall madly in love with them? “Oh, baby, I’ve been waiting for this aroma all my life.”
I’m so glad I have a car.

Why not just ask them to move so you can sit down? I have sat on the outside seat at time -with my bag in my lap so the seat is free for whoever wants to sit there -i’m not claiming it, i just may not want to sit next to that big grease mark some one left on the window or for example, yesterday all the free seats had wet spots on them except for one of the outside seats, i was wearing a light coloured dress on my way to work and didn’t want to look like i have just wet myself, it’d b ok if i was wearing dark jeans say.. 😛 Not everyone on the outside is an asshole!
Oh my goodness. I WISH I could say this to people everyday! Just so inconsiderate! I give you a big “hell yes” girl. 🙂
[…] What I wish I had the audacity to say to people on the bus every day. […]

LOL! This is too funny!

I know this experience too well! And people who don’t move to the back of the bus when standing.
I like this BUT!!!! I have been in a situation where I have moved to the window seat because of this exact thing and have only gone a few stops and then when trying to pass the person sitting next to me was told in a terse tone ” Why didn’t you sit on the outside if you were getting off soon?” So summing up, you can’t win 🙂
hahah I experience this too! : ) so truee….can’t wait to see your next comics. Thank you for following me!
I would like to say that to people on the LIRR who take up 2 or 3 seats with bags or by lying down. Or those who talk loudly on their cells. But not in those words.
